My two cents on the dismissal of Joel Kovel:
I took Kovel’s “Zionism and its Discontents” course last semester at Bard. We read several books other than his own, including the works of Benny Morris, Ilan Pappe, and Arthur Hertzberg, to name a few. We read countless news-articles and editorials, attended lectures by guest speakers, and watched a number of documentaries as well.
I have very, very mixed feelings about Joel. But to his credit, the guy always stressed the importance of getting the facts right.
